We have received a letter from the Tattershall & District Twinning Association sent to Mr le Maire and councillors of Brûlon. In this letter, our English friends from Tattershall claim about the Brûlon Twinning committee which, according to them, is not really working. It is true that nobody, either in Brûlon, other in Tattershall, can be satisfied with the twinning’s working. But, neither Tattershall, nor Brûlon, can be told responsible for that. As it is said in the letter, twinning is a two-way process, maybe, a both-way process (I don’t know if this expression is right, but it is meaningful), so no answer but trying to make each to other a little of the way! To this end, we ask everybody who really thinks that twinning between a small village in the west of France and a nice village in the Lincolnshire county (England) would be worthy to come around on February 21st, Thursday, 8 pm, at the Town council hall, prieuré de Brûlon. In order to set up a new committee for the twinning and organize a visit to our friends in Tattershall ! Please keep high and think about, the chance won’t come again!
